Does anybody ever say, 'Looks like some body's got a case of the Mondays', where you work? Well no, I reckon you'd get shot if you said something like that.....


Hahaha. Oh man. It's Monday. And what's good about it? Well, it's a new day. A fresh start. And thats about it. I cant deny that Monday totally blows. Every time. But I guess there's not much to do about it except try to find something good in it.

Its Sunday already! The baby is napping and I have a moment in this busy birthday weekend to get this post edited and up. Yeah! So, some of you may recall a post I did a while back about deep dish mini pizzas... Its one of my most popular posts and still to this day is one of my most viewed posts... You may also recall my love for pizza. Cause I do. Love it. What is there not to love? And with this fun little recipe, I combine two of the best comfort foods. Pizza, and grilled cheese! Yeah!

Crafty Pants Friday {12} Covered Lampshade Tutorial

So I have this lamp. It's in my sons room, and its totally boring. Sound familiar? I've seen tons of projects all over Pinterest and blog land about jazzing up lamp shades. I had to get in on the action. I decided to cover the shade in some fabric to go with his decor.

See? Booooring. The lamp and shade are from IKEA. Its alright, but it was cheap, my main goal. So lets dive right in:

It seems like only yesterday I was bearing down in the hospital with my knees at my chest and a team of people yelling at me, "PUSH!". Ahhh, memories. Now, the little (was not so little at almost 10 lbs) nugget is six months old, going on 7. He squeals, rolls around, gnaws on things, and spits food at my face. And yup, I love him. I love everything about him. Even when he makes me want to pull my hair out.

Happy Monday to Ya! Oh wait. I mean, bah-humbug Monday. Meh.

My weekend was nice. Not much happened. I think that's the first weekend in a couple of months that I didn't have any plans or stuff going on. I mean, there is always stuff to do around the house. But that doesn't involve me packing up and hauling around my almost 7 month old. And believe me, its hauling. This little nugget is a chunk! Love that baby of mine though.

Savory Sunday {10} Loaded Egg Cups

So I'm not a huge breakfast person. But, I know I need to eat it, so I try to find small things to eat to get my metabolism going. Yogurt, cereal, and recently, egg cups. I've been a tad obsessed lately with muffin tin cooking. It's just so easy and convenient, and lets face it, just freakin cute! Enter egg cups.

Hellllllloooooo. Its been a nice three day Easter Weekend. I enjoyed the time with my little family, even though my son is too young to even Easter egg hunt. But none the less, it was time together. Crafty Pants Friday {10} Spring Wreath for the SIL

When is your favorite time of day to craft? I kinda spread mine out over the entire day, but I usually end up doing a lot of my stuff late at night. When the creepy crawlies come out and the crickets start to sing. Ok, so crickets aren't around yet, but they will be soon.

I started working on this spring wreath for my sister-in-law earlier in the week. I started spray painting it and then I would go back and give it another light coat and get any little spots that I saw without paint. Then today I worked on the little embellishments that were going on the wreath.
