DIY Shelves and Topiaries {Tutorial}

Pin It So I have mentioned before that I was developing a slight obsession with black and white stripes. I need some in my house. Well, I found a way to incorporate the look. Its just enough black and white to ease me into it. And even though the kitchen in the house we're renting has brown cabinets and back splash... I don't care. Like I said before, I like what I like, where I like it. Somehow, in the end, it all works out anyways.

So as I just mentioned, we are renting a house, and we just moved in a few weeks ago. I have so many ideas and projects swirling around in my mind, and I am so excited to work on everything this summer! I had this idea for a wall in my breakfast nook... More like, a vision. Which can be scary. Cause "visions" don't always work out. Well, so far, this one has. I knew what kind of shelf I wanted but I figured it would be hard to find on the type of budget I am working with (which is small). And I decided I had to have some topiaries.

My First Craft Show Experience {Part 1}

Pin It So I participated in my first craft show this past month, on the 26th. And let me tell you... It was SO fun! It was really a wonderful experience, and I was lucky to get to do it with friends. A friend of mine contacted me one day, and asked if I would like to host a table at her Craft/Product Show that she was hosting at her house. My answer? "Hell Yeah!!"

It was really the perfect first craft show to do. It was small, it was with people I knew, and it was at someones house, so there were no entry fees or anything like that. I had one month to get ready. So off to work I was! I started out making a list of things that I wanted to make for the show, that wouldn't take too long, and that wouldn't cost too much to put together.

Pin It Hello Lovelies! I know, I know... Tsk tsk... It's been almost three weeks... And no posting. At all. Ugh. Well, I'm very sorry. I have just had so much going on these past few weeks. Birthdays, moving, my very first craft show.... Yeah! Lots of fun stuff, but I am SO exhausted! I had a great time at my first craft show, and I'll be posting a little series about that later...

And we moved into a house! We're just renting it, but I am stoked about it. I have a lot of plans for it, and there will also be a little series about that... You may remember my post about it a few weeks ago...

A few things in the Etsy Store

Pin It So I will be opening an Etsy Shop soon... Like in just a week or two. Yeah! I'm super excited and nervous at the same time. Movin It Monday {12} Staying Motivated

Pin It Well Hellloooooo! Happy Movin It Monday! Have you been out there shankin it yet?! I haven't gotten to my workout for today yet, but I will tonight! I don't usually like to miss working out in the morning because when the evening rolls around the last thing I wanna do is sweat it out. But my dad hasn't been feeling well and I've been taking him to the doctor. And by the time I get home from runnin around, it's pretty much time for me to go to work!
