Pin It Hi! My name is Katie, and I live in Benbrook, Texas, with my amazing husband and wonderfully adorable cute son. My husband and I got married on May 22, 2010. I loved our wedding! It was so amazingly perfect, and all of our friends and family were there to celebrate with us, which was the icing on the beautiful cake we had.

That's me and the hubzy... He is truly amazing, and I am so absolutely lucky that he is able to put up with me. I'm a lucky girl. He helps keep me grounded and we can talk about anything and everything. We are truly best friends, which I think is the most wonderful kind of intimacy you can have with your partner. It would make for a long road without it!

We were married for a year when.... Surprise!

He was kind of a whoops, but I couldn't have asked for a better whoops in all my life! He is such a good baby, and he is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. I absolutely adore him. Ps, don't be fooled by all that lettuce in our fridge... That was a special occasion... That never happens. EVER.

We are a little family and we are growing together, and I love it. Every minute. Even the hard minutes.

I haven't even been into crafting and cooking for all that long now... I really started getting into cooking last fall (2011), and got into crafting around the holidays. But it wasn't really until around February and March of this year (2012), that I seriously took after it. Now I am a crafting, DIYing, and thrifting fool. I have a hard time even shopping any more because I just look at stuff and think, I can do that, and probably for cheaper. Anyone else do that?

Now I am growing my blog, have opened an Etsy shop, and have the things that I make at a store called Creative Collective here in Fort Worth. WOOT! I can only hope to go even further from here... We shall see where the road takes me!
