15 Tricks to Treat Your Halloween, Mommy is Coocoo

Hello!  I mean BOO!!!  I am Amanda and I blog at mommy is coocoo.  My blog is all about family, DIY decorating and fun.  I am delighted Katie invited me to be a part of her Halloween series.

This is the whole coocoo family!
Me, my three little bears, and my pimp Mr. coocoo.

Today I am going to share some of our families Halloween Decor which includes whimisal, thrifty decorations {mostly bought on clearance the day after Halloween} with a little easy DIY.

When I decorate for Halloween I like to put cobwebs on just about everything!  Cobwebs are a great way to add a little creepiness to your home and they are cheap.

I bought these clearance spiders last year for a few dollars!

These {not so} spooky pillows were on clearance too!

Who doesn't love a glitter skeleton?

My coocoo kids call her Grace because
she hangs by our kitchen table {where we say grace}.

I used grocery store bags to make this pennant banner in six easy steps.  Click here if you'd like to make one too.

Pumkins and LED candles are perfect in our fireplace.

However, this extra spooky dust is only available at the coocoo's house. Don't try to replicate it.  It's one of a kind.

Mr. coocoo thought I had totally lost it when I spray-painted this branch from our backyard and brought it inside {to be fair, I did hang it above our cooktop}.

I added a $1 plastic mouse to complete the look. See my DIY from the backyard tutorial here

Thanks for allowing me to share our Halloween decor with you and your readers Katie!

If you'd like to see more of our coocoo home or just learn a little more about the coocoo family visit me @ mommy is coocoo!

I love her decorations! And I love that she does it on the cheap! Can't ask for much more. Make sure to stop by and say Hey to Amanda, she is a hoot!
